Chloe is a busy little girl these days. She kicks and squirms all the time. Chris has been able to feel her and that has been so exciting! I went to the doctor last week and had gained 5 pounds, that makes my total weight gain 16 pounds, not bad at all!
Now for the biggest news........................for all of my closest family you will be the most surprised by this........................I decided this past weekend it was time to buy a new bra. I've out grown the ones I've been wearing and honestly they are just totally uncomfortable. So off we went to the mall. I went to Motherhood Maternity and was greeted by a very sweet, very young girl who eagerly asked if I was looking for something particular. I smiled and announced, yes, a bra. We walked to the back of the store where she asked if she could measure me. I was very happy to let her whip out her tape measure to see exactly what size I had grown to. She announced that I was a 36 (drum roll please) D!!!!!!!!! I practically jumped back out of shock and looked her directly in the eye in total amazement. "What did you say?" I asked. She repeated those words 36D. I could not surpress my laughter. I could see the confusion on her face so I shared with her that only 6 months earlier I was my forever cup size of A. No wonder my balance has been off....................not only is my belly growing, but my boobs are enormous for me!
And here she is, my maternity, breatfeeding 36D in all her glory!
We've been busy working on the nursery for the past couple of weeks. I'm not ready to share pictures yet because I want it to be complete. We bought the crib a couple of weeks ago, but when we went to put it together it had 4 left legs and no right ones. We contacted the manufacturer and they have sent the 2 right legs. I can't wait to show everyone what it looks like. I've been busy sewing all the bedding and other things. It's looking like a perfect room for our little princess.
I'm so sorry I've taken so long to update the blog, I promise to do better. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I'm so excited about the new year but most of all meeting our precious little Chloe.
looking good, and welcome to the "D" club! That cracked me up! It's not all it's cracked up to be. Keep the updates coming.
